my five facts

1. 1 million kids get pessured into doing something that they dont want to do just so they can be cool.
2. Most kids are pessured to drink,smoke,or have sex.
3.  Many of the kids parents are having troubles to talk to their kids.
4. The kids that are pessured have a bad time at school even though they are cool.
5. Some of the kids kill themselves.  

my character biography

Starnjia is a very good kid and before she moved this was her life.Starnjia's old school wad the best school  she had ever went to.The people there were very nice and she had friends, that she could trust.Starnjia's mother Stephany was on crack, she did not have a job her husband which is starnjia's father had to take care of everything, he cooked he cleaned and worked double hours.It was the worse time for starnjia she had no one to talk to because her mom was always on crack. So she could not talk to her dad, because he had no thought of what was going on. this is what happend in her life has a character before they moved.   

MY STORY

I.INTRODUCTION          
A.My characters are starnija,her mom stephiney,also her school counselor. 
B.My story takes place in Anlanta,Georgia. The dates are between 2010 may,1 - 2011 may,1   
C.IN the story there is going to be a girl named starnjia put under pressure.She does not know what to do and she can not speak to     
because her mother is on drugs.


II.RISING ACTION  
A.The main events that happen in my story are. 
1)Starnjia moves to alanta and goes to mickeys middle school.  
2)her mother has an adiction to drugs and tries to stay off but she just cant.  
3)starnjia is being teased by some junkies named kelly and mandy. 

4) starnjia is forced to smoke and drink after a party kelly says if you want to stay cool tou have to keep on doing it.  
5)her mother is off drugs and she can finally talk to her.  

B.My character wants to be popular.She has had it with Kelly and Mandy!  


III.CLIMAX 
A.The most important event in the story is starnjia realizes that she should just be herself. 
B. The turning point for the main character is when her mother said being cool is worse than being uncool and she took the advise that is the turning point.  


IV. FALLING ACTION 
A.THE DIRECT RESULT IS THAT SCHOOL WAS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN BEFORE NOW THAT SHE TOOK HER MAMAS advise 
B. the reaction were that starnjia was happy and excited.


V. RESOLUTION 
A. my character learned that she should just be herself to succeed in school. 
B.my character is going to stay at mickeys middle school and handle her problems.

MY BOOK REPORT

The book I am reading is Addy. This book is about a girl and her mother escape from slavery. Her dad was taken by another ower. Her brother was sold to another ower and Addy's little sister staying with the auntie and uncle. Addy and her mother had to wait until night night time. To wait and leave.This is so, because the guard had left. They took the train,they swam and walked when they got to thier final destation Addy and her mother went to go see this woman the woman help them she feed Addy and her mother and when she thought they were ready to be on thier own the woman let them take the train to the south where people wetre allowed to be free Addy started school and her mother got a job to provide for them.

MY NOVEL PITCH

 This novel ''Me and only me'' is about a family
that just moved to New York  and an 11-year-old girl named Starnjia. She has to change her school, now she is going to ''mickeys middle school. starnjia's mother stephany is on drugs and has to learn things on her own." Starnjia has a really wierd way of expressing herself. She meets some poeple that is, suppose to be her friends, try to embarss her by pull pranks on her. Starnjia gets teased every day and she never lets her parents know. Then her so-called friends try to help her by telling her to drink and smoke,  and she is wondering should she do this and at the end of the book, she learns should she really have to be someone else? and she said no I am going to be'' me and only me''.

3.) I think the writer organzed or explained it like that os that it will be esayer to show who is it mainly about and who is the writer trying to save or help, I think it is really important.

4.) The deatails that show Galdikas are more motived, because they can see that there was 180,000 orangutans band now there are 27,000 orangutans left they can also see that the orangutans are being sold or eaten so they are trying to let more off-spring be born and mabey the population will go up  in a period of time.

5.) orangutans have needs and so do we like this food,water,shelter,and love these are all basic needs. The worse thing that can happend is that little animal doesn't have any of those basic needs.So this should send a message to the people do not harm these monkeys ,because you do not want some one to harm you SO STOP IT NOW! and leave the ORANGUTANS  alone.

MY ANSWER TO THE QUESTION

I think why the orangutans are threatened with extinction, because they are valuable animals and now they are really rare types of monkeys.Also most poeple do not care about about thier habtits they (locals,vistors) want to build homes and other new things.So this is what I think about the extinction.
