LETS LEARN ABOUT THE AFRICAN BURIAL GROUND

As you may know thier was alot of bodies buried in the african burial ground. Some people think that there are more than 20,000 bodies there. Some of the bodies were girls,boys,women,men and,babys. Scientists and Archaeologist can sometimes do research and find out if the bones where from a women,man,gril,boy,baby. when the research was done the scientists and archaeologist put the bones into cuffins and 60 ciffins can go into a big crate.

In the back of the biluding you can see that thier where 7 mouns 60x7=420 so thats how many bodies are underneath these mouns in the back of this biulding.A while later George W. Bush picked this place as a national momument.Because I think he thought it was good for children's education,and learning propuses about african americans.In 1993 the African Burial Ground was a historical landform.In 2006 the African burial ground was apart of park service.In 2007 the ABG was showed to the public.

Some facts that others need to know! what i thought was intersting was the women who had a musketball going through her ribs. She died because someone shoot her with a gun. I am thinking they shoot her because she tryed to run away from her master.Another thing I thought was that the bodies or the bones don't look that old they look like they are 1yr old.This is also my question to the archaeologist why don't the bodise look old?
